As we said in lesson 2, you need to set expectations with your team so everyone is clear on how their performance will be managed.
Make sure you set clear objectives for everyone and decide how often you will monitor these. Think about the following:
Do you want an update every week?
How do you want that update to take place – by email, phone or Zoom?
How much warning do you want if things are not on track this week?
With this last point you may pick this up when you are all located together but this is more difficult to do when you are remote.
